In July we are collecting School supplies. A collection box is located in the BFLC coat room. If you miss a month, you can drop off that item any month. Contact Kathy Titmuss-Smith (937) 243-0192 with questions.


Life in our community has changed over the years with many of our families trying to cope with mental health challenges. The issues are numerous: drug and alcohol, mental illness, kids/teens with high risk behaviors, aging and dementia, relationship difficulties, etc.... Does your family or your neighbor in the community need support, education, resources, or advocacy with any mental health issues?

Today we celebrate Memorial Sunday. We will honor those members who have passed away in the last twelve months. These whom we honor are dearly remembered by their families and friends and by their church family as well.

The purpose of this internship is to provide for young adults to experience ministry first-hand and offer assistance to the leadership of Quake youth ministry during our busy summer months.

Qualifications for interns:

Once again our QUAKE YOUTH will be selling EASTER LILIES as a fundraiser. Please turn in all orders in the offering plate or to the church office You may also mail your completed order form below along with a check payable to FUMC with notation for YOUTH/LILY to: First United Methodist Church, 207 S. Court St., before the March 25th DEADLINE.

NOTE: We cannot place orders without your advance payment.

Lent begins February 14th with our Ash Wednesday service at 7pm, and goes through Easter, April 1st.

Are you looking for a place for your Life Group or Sunday School class to meet with access to Right Now Media?

We now have six rooms ready for Sunday School classes and Life Groups in need of Right Now Media being played over a Roku. Right Now Media has over 10,000 Bible Study Videos. Each room has a cheat sheet on how to get to Right Now Media to work. Rooms that are equipped with Right Now Media are 157, 220, 246, Mill's Lounge, Court Yard, and BCR/Cafe.

If weather emergencies are declared by a local or state governmental body, the following procedures will be in place:


· Level 1 – Programs run as normal.

· Level 2 – All children and youth programs will be cancelled except Sunday mornings; adult programs will be held at the discretion of the group leadership.
