SANCTUARY CONCERT SERIES

The Marysville First United Methodist Church is proud to present a brand NEW concert series that offers FREE *(except where notated)  concerts to all who wish to attend.  We are currently featuring musicians from the Central Ohio area, with some of these musicians  coming to us from right here in Union County!  There is so much amazing music talent right here in our back yard, and we feel that music is a beautiful gift from God and we want to make it easily accessible to all.  These concerts will generally be about 60 minutes in length, so they are a great way to introduce children to many different genres of music.  Come spend a wonderful Sunday evening with us in our sanctuary as we enjoy one of the many gracious gifts of our Lord.   We hope that you can join us and that enjoy the music!

Scioto Valley Brass and Percussion Co. chRISTMAS cONCERT

The Scioto Valley Brass & Percussion Co. (SVBPC) was formed in 1993 to provide an opportunity for adult brass players and percussionists in the central Ohio area to entertain audiences with brass band concerts in the tradition of the British brass bands of  100 years ago. SVBPC enjoys continuing the tradition while adding its own fun and flair. What sets the SVBPC apart from otherbands is that while the SVBPC plays in the tradition of the original brass bands, SVBPC encourages camaraderie and hijinks among the members while working to create a unique and fun musical expericence for the audience.

The Scioto Valley Brass and Percussion Company is led by Dr. Christopher Hoch. Dr. Hoch is also the director of The Ohio State University Marching Band and the University Athletic Bands.
