YOUR BLOOD DONATION SAVES LIVES
Wednesday, July 24th from 11 AM- 4:30 PM
You can put the power of faith into action and help save a life. How? Give blood! You may schedule an appointment two ways:
call 1-800-RED CROSS or visit redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code “FirstUMCMarys”. Blood transfusions are essential for many needs: blood loss in accidents, after surgery, during cancer treatment, blood disease treatment, and after childbirth. Join us in the Burnside Family Life Center as we tend to our neighbors in need by giving blood. For more information, please call Noreen Runyan, Health And Wellness Chair, at 937-243-2242.
Due to various church happenings, please note the following changes in dates and locations for the classes below:

Currently, Methodist Creative Preschool has openings for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year in our 3-year old preschool classes and our 4-year old pre-kindergarten classes. If you, or anyone you know are looking for a preschool/pre-kindergarten program, please feel free to contact Shelley at 937.642.2103 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Please pray that God will continue to send the children He wants us to minister to next year.
Take time to invest a few hours in developing your “Marks of a Christian.” Sound familiar? Pastor Bill encouraged each one of us to have an “inward testimony” and love for God which results in an outward expression of love for others, even our enemies.
How do we do this? Who leads us? Where do we turn when confused or need questions answered? The Holy Spirit is our inner voice and guide whom God sent after Jesus ascended to Heaven. This one evening/one day seminar offers practical information about a relationship with the Holy Spirit and personal sharing by women and men who call on the Holy Spirit for direction in their life. Please make a commitment to join others in your church family to make the Holy Spirit the guiding influence in you life.
SPECIAL CHURCH CONFERENCE was held on Thursday May 2 regarding how apportionments to our District and West Ohio Conference will be administered. Listed is the outcome of the conference:
Funds held in Escrow - Money held in escrow for apportionments will remain under the conditions of the December 2017 decision. If there is not a guilty verdict by January 1, 2020, the funds will revert to FUMC to be used as the Leadership Team deems most appropriate.
Current Apportionments - Marysville FUMC will return to paying apportionments effective immediately, contingent upon the church’s financial ability to fund these payments.
Please direct any questions you may have to your Leadership Team.

Church family, last month we installed key card access locks to the church and we want to give everyone a notice that starting Monday, July 15th during the hours of 9am-2pm Monday through Friday the church office doors at the Court Street entrance will be the only entry point into the church, all other doors will be locked. After 2pm, the Burnside Entrance door will unlock so the congregation has access to the church for meetings after church office hours. This change will control the flow of people coming into the church during church office hours, so the office staff is aware of individuals in the building and can provide assistance if someone is lost or needs help.
