MEDiA

Our A/V teams are integral to our Worship Arts here at Cornerstone, especially since many folks are worshipping online at this time. We are currently recruiting to build our A/V Team for both worship services. We need folks who are comfortable on the sound board, volunteers that can click a mouse on a computer to change slides for the screens, and others to help run the cameras for the livestream.  WE WILL TRAIN ANY WILLING VOLUNTEER!!!  If this sounds like a way in which you may like to serve, please contact Linda Forry

Contemporary: Praise Band

The Worship Team plays contemporary Christian Praise and Worship songs to accompany the 10:30am Sunday service in the Burnside Family Life Center. If you are a vocalist or play drums, bass, guitar, or keyboards, you are welcome to join us!

To get more information call John Caballes through the church office at 937-642-4712 or email at johnc@ourcornerstone.org.

ALL are welcome!

DRAMA TEAM

The Drama Team ministry presents short skits to compliment sermon topics and produces full length drama and musical plays for special occasions and off-site presentations. In addition to recruiting actors, the team is also interested in finding backstage and technical help.

Handbell Choir

The Handbell Choir is a fun group of men and women that ring 3 octaves of Schulmerich Handbells and 4 octaves of Schulmerich Hand-chimes.  The group attends Area 5 Handbell Musicians of America events, including the spring conference each year where concerts are enjoyed, educational classes are offered to increase and refine their musical talents and participating in a large mass ring under the direction of some of the finest handbell composers and directors.

This group rehearses on Thursday evenings in the sanctuary from Sept-May and rings primarily at the Traditional Service.  They often join the Chancel Choir and other music groups for special events throughout the year.  For more information, contact Handbell Director, Carolyn Dunkin.

Hands In MOTION [H.I.M.] Puppet Ministry

God has a sense of humor and the puppet ministry likes to present this through songs and skits with a message from Him to the audience.  It is always about glorifying Him. We share at Cornerstone for services and special events.

The puppeteers are busy Sept-May.  The group visit all six care centers in Marysville and one in Plain City.    After our performances, we have the kids take their puppets and mingle with the residents at the care facilities.  It is a good experience for the kids and the residents love them.

It is a fun ministry to learn new skills hidden talents, and friendships while serving the Lord.  Practices are on Monday nights Sept-May, in rooms 245 and 246 from 7:00-8:00 pm.  All 5th - 12th graders are welcome.

For more information contact Marianne Birt, Director.

Joyful Noise

If you enjoy playing an instrument - a flute, a violin, a trumpet - we would love to have you join the Joyful Noise wind ensemble!  This instrumental choir supports primarily traditional services at Cornerstone.  We also support large choral works and cantatas throughout the year, so even if you worship at the Contemporary worship on Sunday mornings, there is an opportunity to play in this group!

This groups meets on Mondays at 6:30-8:00 pm in the choir room.  Please contact Linda Forry to acquire music and a schedule. ALL are welcome!
