Children's Sunday School

****COVID 19 UPDATE***All classes suspended until further notice.*****


Children's Sunday School is for Pre-K to 4th grade!  Sunday School provides engaging Bible based, high quality curriculum that is age and grade level appropriate which will foster spiritual growth. 


****Check in before service at either the BFLC entrance or back of the Sanctuary. 


9:00am Traditional Service - 

Please check-in your kid(s) in the back of the Sanctuary. They will start out in the Sanctuary with their families and then dismissed at 9:30am for Sunday School. Pick up immediately after the service in room 220


10:30am Contemporary Service - 

Please check-in your kid(s) at the BFLC Welcome Center. They will start out in the Burnside Family Life Center and then be dismissed to Sunday School at 10:45am to their specific classrooms. Pick up is in their classrooms.

PLEASE NOTE:

• We request that parents stay on the church grounds while children are attending Sunday School. 
•Swift pick up is a gift to our Servants can get to worship on time.

NURSERY

Sunday morning: 

Our experienced staff is ready to help serve you and play with your little ones while you worship.  All staff members in the nursery have background checks. Stop in and visit!

Hours Available: Sundays mornings during Worship Services and Sunday School.



Evening Childcare:

We also provide evening childcare during the school year.  We provide care for birth through 4th grade on the following days:

  • Sundays by appointment with Ashley
  • Wednesdays 6-8:00 pm
  • Thursdays 6-9:00 pm

We are often in need of snack donations for our hungry kiddos . . . Goldfish, Cheez Its, pretzels and baby graduate puffs are all great!  Thank you!

MOPs

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is an international, Christian organization focused on women and mothers. 


 

Here at MOPS, we gather moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. That’s why we rally women, in their own neighborhoods, to help them become more brave, kind and honest, one gathering at a time.

 

So, whether you are a soon-to-be mom, first-time mom or seventh-time mom, you are welcome here. Whether you are an adoptive mom, young mom, seasoned mom, foster mom, stepmom or any other type of mom, you are welcome here.

 

A MOPS meeting includes practical teaching through speakers, demonstrations or videos, followed by small group discussion and creative activities. Plus, there’s usually food… food you didn’t make! But more important, you’ll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood. All while your children are being lovingly cared for by our church volunteers.

 

The program is designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. MOPS is a relevant and caring network for moms. We offer both morning and evening programs.
