Women IN Mission [WIM]

The Women in Mission (W.I.M.) provide several venues for the women of Marysville and the surrounding areas to serve. You do not need to be a member of the FUMC of Marysville to belong to this group and to serve. For more information contact by clicking here, or call the church office at 937-642-4712.


OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The Women in Mission shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God, to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand the concepts of mission through the church.


Opportunities for Involvement

  • Monthly Circle meetings (meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month: morning-10:00 A.M. and evening 7:00 P.M., generally Mills Lounge but locations can vary as each Circle has unique programs throughouT the year).
  • Christian Quilter
  • The Cookie Cutters Club
  • Religious Readers
  • Special events hosted throughout the year
  • Annual Rummage Sale

Circle Meetings

There are two circles -- the Morning Circle meets on the the third Wednesday morning of the month; the Evening Friendship Circle meets on the third Wednesday evening of the month.

Saturday, March 14 from 9-1


With a Bake Sale on Saturday ONLY

Monies from the sale will go to various mission projects.

 

Start cleaning house and collecting your treasures!

 

SUGGESTED ITEMS:

  •       PLANTS
  •       CLEAN CLOTHING (sized and in good repair)
  •       GAMES, FITNESS, SPORTING EQUIPMENT
  •       HOUSEWARES and COLLECTIBLES
  •       BABY ITEMS, TOYS
  •       FURNITURE
  •       LINENS (bedding, towels, etc.)
  •       SEWING SUPPLIES and CRAFT ITEMS
  •       TOOLS
  •       SHOES and BOOTS (in good condition)
  •       BOOKS, RECORDS, CD’s
  •       JEWELRY, PURSES, ACCESSORIES
  •       CHRISTMAS and OTHER HOLIDAY DECORATIONS


NO COMPUTER MONITORS, VHS TAPES,  AUDIO CASSETTES, LARGE APPLIANCES, COMPUTER PARTS AND/OR ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS!


Drop off  items in the Burnside Conference Room (next to the BFLC) starting FEBRUARY 24 TO MARCH 9! 

 

DO NOT leave items at the Entrance to the Burnside Family Life Center as that door is a Preschool Fire Exit.  Please STACK rummage items!

 

PLEASE DO NOT BRING IN FURNITURE ITEMS UNTIL WEDNESDAY MARCH 11TH

HELP IS NEEDED IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE RUMMAGE SALE


DONATE YOUR TIME: On March 9th through March 14th we need both MEN AND WOMEN to help SORT, PRICE, SELL, BAKE SALE, AND CLEAN UP.
